Renal colic is the most typical of the presentation modes of urinary lithiasis. An intense pain that appears suddenly and generates a lot of restlessness, avoiding to adopt a position that relieves the discomfort. The pain is sometimes focused on the back level of the last ribs to one side or the other depending on the location of the stone in the right or left kidney.
